The paper builds on preliminary findings from a questionnaire survey of building managers in Slovakia and provides a more detailed analysis of the current use of building management systems and requirements for their improvement. The survey included 75 respondents representing residential, office and public buildings and focused on technical systems, monitoring, operation and maintenance, user assessment and modernization preferences.
For the InnovAIte project, the findings are relevant for defining functional requirements, identifying barriers to wider deployment and supporting the development of a comprehensive digital solution for building management.
