Žilina 29 April 2026

At the 2nd InnovAIte Conference in Žilina, a collaboration agreement was officially signed between the InnovAIte Slovakia
PredictiveResearchLab projects.
The document was signed by Martin Polek, CFO of Gratex International, a.s., on behalf of InnovAIte Slovakia and Štefan Rydzi (PredictiveDataScience, s. r. o.) on behalf of PredictiveResearchLab.

InnovAIte Slovakia ("InnovAIte Slovakia: Illuminating Pathways for AI‑Driven Breakthroughs", project code: 09I02‑03‑V01‑00029) is co-financed by the European Union under the Recovery and Resilience Facility. PredictiveResearchLab (project code: 401101C597), officially titled "Innovative approaches for predictive maintenance, quality and logistics using advanced artificial intelligence tools", is co-financed by the European Union under Programme Slovakia.

The collaboration builds on the complementarity of both projects: InnovAIte Slovakia focuses on the development of Edge-AI solutions leveraging multimodal and synthetic datasets, while PredictiveResearchLab investigates AI methodologies and architectures for predictive maintenance, production quality, and logistics using real industrial data. Combining these two approaches creates a framework for methodological knowledge exchange, data management harmonisation, and improved robustness of AI models across domains.

One of the first visible points of cooperation was presented directly at the conference, the research paper "Data Challenges in Artificial Intelligence Tools for Predictive Maintenance Management and Logistics", which captures shared findings and insights from both projects. The collaboration is strictly methodological and professional in nature and does not involve any financial interconnection between the projects. Its goal is to systematically strengthen national expertise in applied AI and to accelerate the transfer of research results into real-world practice.
