The InnovAIte Slovakia project is this year's Platinum Partner for the 12th annual National BIM Conference, which will take place on October 15,
2026, in Bratislava. This partnership is an opportunity to demonstrate that the integration of artificial intelligence with the construction industry
is no longer just a topic of the future – concrete solutions are being developed directly within our project.
At the conference, InnovAIte is hosting a dedicated section where we will present examples of the application of artificial intelligence and BIM (Building Information Modeling) developed by our consortium partners. The section will feature presentations by InnovAIte project partners:
The Optima Ideas team utilizes computer vision and multimodal approaches to compare the BIM model with the actual state of construction.
The research aims to achieve a more efficient evaluation of construction progress and the identification of discrepancies between the digital model and reality.
The Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Slovak University of Technology (STU), together with the VŠB - Technical University of Ostrava (VŠB-TUO), is developing models that utilize BIM model data to design the optimal control of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in buildings.
Both cases highlight one of the key topics in the practical application of artificial intelligence – data quality. Structured, consistent, and continuously updated BIM data provides an excellent foundation for the development and deployment of artificial intelligence solutions.
