SCA/HPC Asia 2026 took place from 26 to 29 January 2026 at the Osaka International Convention Center (Grand Cube Osaka). The joint event, which brought together the SupercomputingAsia (SCA) and HPC Asia conferences, welcomed 2,636 participants from around the world.
This year’s conference, held under the theme “Everything with HPC – AI, Cloud, QC and the Future Society,” set unprecedented records across all participation categories, reaffirming its position as one of the leading global events in high‑performance computing. Attendees had the opportunity to enjoy an interesting programme featuring inspiring keynotes, workshops, tutorials, BoFs, and diverse invited sessions.
Among the contributors was also David Číž from IT4Innovations National Supercomputing Center, who participated in the poster session and presented his poster titled “A QA‑Gated Ensemble Framework for Robust AI”. Traditional ensemble averaging often hides model errors, so IT4Innovations built a QA Referee to audit every prediction individually. This new architecture achieves SOTA performance (+0.6% IoU) by ensuring only high-quality masks enter the fusion stage. A major step forward for generating robust training data in high-throughput microscopy.
